About the Role

This is a high-impact Professional Individual Contributor (Manager level) role designed for a mature and versatile professional to serve as the "Office Steward" for Meitu’s Hong Kong presence.

As the key bridge between our HK office and Global HQ, you will be responsible for the seamless integration of Meitu’s corporate culture in the local market, overseeing office operations, and managing critical external relationships—including government bodies. This role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned generalist to operate with high autonomy. While the primary focus is on HK operations, there is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to extend their impact by supporting our global HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Office Stewardship & Culture Landing

● Culture & Engagement: Lead the localization and implementation of Meitu’s corporate culture in Hong Kong. Design and organize high-quality team-building activities and internal events to enhance employee engagement and belonging.

● Strategic Admin Management: Independently oversee all-rounded office operations, including lease negotiations and renewals, office renovation, maintenance, and fixed asset management.

● Government & External Liaison: Act as the company’s primary representative to liaise with Hong Kong government bodies (e.g., Innovation and Technology Bureau, Labour Department, Immigration) and local vendors to support partnerships and ensure compliance.

2. HR Business Partnering (Individual Contributor)

● Employee Relations: Act as the primary on-the-ground HR contact for local employees, resolving enquiries and fostering a positive workplace environment.

● Performance & Talent Support: Facilitate HQ performance appraisal systems in the HK office and manage the end-to-end recruitment coordination and onboarding experience for local hires.

● Global HR Opportunity (Added Value): For candidates with the interest and capability, you will have the chance to support Global HR projects, assisting with talent management and HR policy design for Meitu’s international expansion.

3. C&B Coordination & Compliance

● Data Management: Verify local attendance and leave data to ensure accuracy for HQ payroll processing.

● Statutory Compliance: Manage local MPF administration and coordinate with the HQ C&B team to ensure timely IRD tax filings (IR56 series) and local sign-off.

Qualifications

● Experience: 5+ years of solid experience in both Human Resources and Administration. Previous experience as an Office Manager or an "all-rounder" in a tech or fast-paced environment is highly preferred.

● Professionalism: A mature, "Professional Track" mindset—capable of working independently without a direct team while effectively influencing senior stakeholders.

● Resourcefulness: A self-starter with a strong ability to solve problems independently in a standalone setting.

Required Skills

● Cantonese: Native proficiency (Essential for external government and vendor liaison).

● Mandarin: Fluent (For frequent and effective collaboration with HQ department heads).

● English: Professional working proficiency.

Preferred Skills

● Global Vision: Experience or a strong interest in Global/International HR practices is a significant plus.

● Communication: High level of professional maturity with the ability to prioritize effectively within a complex matrix reporting environment.
