Accounting Assistant / Assistant Accounting Supervisor

Account payable & costing duties
Experience in hospitality industry preferred

Responsibilities

Account payable duties for General supplies, ensuring payments and invoices are processed accurately and on time in accordance with the approved POs.
Maintain and update supplier data and information.
Check monthly commission payable to service providers.
Conduct month end stock takes, investigate discrepancies and update inventory records.
Assist in preparing monthly journals and balance sheet schedules.
Prepare Costing journals for F&B and Recreation.
Maintain the Fixed Assets register record and prepare depreciation journal.
Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation in a timely manner.
Maintain stationery inventory, place orders and distribute to user departments.
Update daily casual labor record in line with the approved requisition forms.
Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or above in Accounting or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Account Payable and or Costing experience, preferably in Club and Hospitality industry.
Familiar with accounting software. Experience with Aspen is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Proactive, well organized, detail-minded and a team player.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
