We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an
Officer, MTY SPS.
In This Role You Will
- To organize, supervise and monitor Cash in Transit Service between MTY and branches, other Note Issuing Banks for note repatriation and new note collection from Hong Kong Note Printing Ltd.
- To perform checking of cash and parcels of supplying items to branches before delivery, under dual control.
- Supporting pay in and pay out activities as checker, reconciler and supervision of the activities
- To approve branches’ orders at Vault Management System (VMS)
- To control the supply of security documents such as gift Cheque, demand draft and Cashier Order to branches.
- Ensure delivery service is adhered to agreed service lead time under unexpected traffic condition and during seasonal peaks
- To handle transferring of foreign currency notes packets to and from branches.
- To assist Packing team to check the lump sum amount of cash returned from branches under dual control.
- To plan and estimate the time to meet with outdoor operation staff for ATM replenishment.
- To deputize Officer of Packing team when necessary.
- To coordinate the delivery of coins to branches by security company.
- Keep the stock and prepare consignment of CNY notes to HSBC branches.
- To plan daily resources of the section to meet service lead time and adjust manpower resources to meet uneven work volume.
- To handle HSBC branches, local bankers and corporate customers’ enquiries on cash ordering matters.
- Responsible for delivery of training and guidance to GCB8 colleagues or services providers.
- To supervise and provide guidance to CIT companies on cash delivery and collection to and from branches related matters, e.g. exceptions handling, routing, act as second/dual control when giving and receiving cash containers to and from CIT companies.
To Be Successful You Will
- Overall 5-7 years experience.
- Knowledge in cash handling, branch operation and work load distribution. Basic PC knowledge and security concepts.
- Frequent decisions, under variable but definite pressure peaks.
- to manage branch network’s ad hoc order
- maximizing cash van resources to cope with the extremely busy and unpredictable circumstances to ensure smooth cash delivery to branch.
- handling/meeting internal and external customers’ cash orders especially during peak.
