GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the quality, schedule and scope of Company projects by ensuring streamlined communication, product movement and process flow from concept design through implementation and closeout. This position provides integration and project leadership to the disciplines that comprise the project team. The Coordinator must consistently maintain a bottom-up, broad perspective across all disciplines in order to ensure that all aspects of the work are covered and no efforts are duplicated.
CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains scope lists, EMS strategies, show lists, deliverables matrixes, shipping documents, and design input matrixes in order to ensure appropriate project scheduling and oversight of the entire scope of the project
- Gathers closeout documentation for appropriate archiving and SQS use
- Facilitates meetings and other communications as necessary in order to ensure proper integration and to resolve issues in a timely manner. Facilitates issue resolution and elevates unresolved problems as required
- Conflict resolution and problem solving on project
- Creates and assists disciplines in creating presentations to senior management (director, vice president level) on project status
- Adherence to all personnel policies and company handbooks
- Manages relationships with owner/operator
- Manages, and at times, may perform, scheduling, estimating, budgeting
- Acts as the chief expeditor for the project. Responsible for ensuring integration of personnel, schedules and disciplines at the working level
- Oversees the on-site arrival of materials needed to construct, produce, install, and commission attractions
- Ensures that concept designs are properly captured and transferred from Creative to the other project disciplines for further design and implementation
- Tracks progress and distributes conclusions from mock-ups and show scene staging
- Will play an active role in the professional bid package process and hiring outside vendors
- Manages assigned project/s or scopes of work within financial parameters, and to the high quality standards of TWDC
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-7 Years related experience
- Understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and Imagineering standards
- Exposure to and experience with hiring of outside vendors, and preparing professional bid packages

- Ability to lead applicable project team including consultants, staff extensions, and contractors

DESIRED QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in business, engineering, architecture, design, liberal arts or other related field
- Expanded computer proficiency in various software
- Scheduling and estimating experience
- Supervisory experience
