Senior People and Culture Officer (Human Resources / Communications / Engagement / Wellness / Staff Development)

Key Duties

Develop and execute communication strategies to strengthen leadership-staff engagement.
Coordinate regular management-staff meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and secretarial support.
Serve as editor of the quarterly staff magazine, managing design and publication.
Plan and deliver employee engagement activities, such as wellness programs, sports events, and team-building initiatives.
Review employee sentiment through surveys and feedback, recommending actionable improvements.
Lead culture-building initiatives, including recognition programs, collaboration projects, and learning opportunities.
Support talent development and succession planning, including coaching and leadership workshops.
Assist in managing trainee programs, tracking progress and designing development interventions.
Perform other duties as assigned to support People & Culture objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications or related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, employee engagement, or people-focused initiatives, with proven ability to manage communication and wellness programs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage employees at all levels
Creative and proactive mindset with a passion for employee experience
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems and digital tools is an advantage
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
