Salary: HK$18,200 per month
Entry Requirements:(a)(i) Level 3 or equivalent or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or
(ii) Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 / Grade C or above in three other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and
(b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent.
(Note: subjects in (a) above may include Chinese Language and English Language.)
Note:
(1) “Attained with Distinction” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(2) The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
(3) ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Duties:(a) To provide logistic, administrative and secretarial support for the Wong Tai Sin District Office and the Committees and Working Groups / Task Forces under Wong Tai Sin District Council;
(b) To assist in coordination, organisation and promotion of Community Involvement programme and to assist in handling related enquiries and reports;
(c) To assist in processing and vetting applications such as reimbursement claims and related remuneration packages of District Council members;
(d) To provide support in operation of community halls and centres in Wong Tai Sin District including compiling reports, following-up maintenance works, handling enquires and complaints etc.; and
(e) to perform other duties as and when required.
Terms of Appointment:(a) Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for a period not more than one year. Contract duration may vary subject to operational needs.
(b) Further employment will be subject to satisfactory performance and operational needs.
(c) Required to work outdoors and irregular hours.
Fringe Benefits
(a) Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave/ paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance;
(b) An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period, subject to the operational needs of the department and actual terms of the contract.

General Notes:
