Education & Event Coordinator (Eastern District; LCSD)

Requirements:

Degree holder (majoring in Film/ Television Studies, Media/ Communication Studies, Fine Arts, Media Arts or equivalent subjects will be an advantage)
At least 2 years full time work experience in film companies, archives, film festivals, museums or cultural sectors (i.e. includes textual, music, television and publishing as well as crafts and design)
HKDSE/ HKCEE – Chinese and English – Level 5/ Grade C or above
Knowledge and experience in programme coordination, promotion and copywriting is preferred
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and Chinese word processing is a MUST
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere is preferred
Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English and MUST be fluent in Cantonese

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the education and outreach programmes, including tours, talks and workshops in the venue/ schools, screenings specialised for students, teachers and communities, etc.
Perform the administration matters of the education and outreach programmes, such as handling applications and enquiries form the schools and the public, preparing agreements, collating returns and statistical data, drafting and proofreading reports, etc.
Assist in producing teaching kits for schools, including conducting research, proofreading the materials, liaising with different parties, such as copyright owners, contractors, freelancers, teachers, etc
Provide support to produce marketing materials (such as brochures, booklets, souvenirs, house programme, pamphlets, posters, websites, advertisements, posts on social media, trailer, etc.) of the education and outreach programmes, including proofreading the materials, liaison with different internal and external parties like designers, printing house, video artistes, etc.
Attend to any other duties as assigned by supervisors
