Assistant Manager, Chinese Medicine Development Fund

Technology Funding Division

What you'll do:

Assist the Team Head in managing the government funding programme related to Chinese Medicine Development in Hong Kong.
Assist in the evaluation of government-funded programme applications and contribute to the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Advisory Committee, including preparation of meeting agendas, documents, and minutes, etc.
Develop and implement promotion campaigns and outreach initiatives to enhance public awareness and stakeholder engagement with the funding scheme.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine, Communications, Journalism, Business Management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge in Chinese Medicine GMP, Chinese Medicine registration, and the Chinese Medicine industry is preferred.
Experience in implementing government funding schemes and/or handling government-funded projects is an advantage.
Mature, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong writing skilss in Chiense preferred.

Note:

1. Applicant may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position.

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months subject to renewal

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
