Salary: HK$28,725 per month
Entry Requirements:Candidates should have –
(1) A bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
(2) Met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note];
(3) Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English;
(4) Good computer knowledge including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese and English word processing skills;
(5) Good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(6) Preference may be given to candidates who have experience in public relations, administrative work and good knowledge in multimedia applications and social media platforms and using graphics and design software.
Note:
(1) “Attained with Distinction” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(2) The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
(3) Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Duties:Appointee(s) shall perform the following duties:-
(1) To provide administration support, e.g. office accommodation, building management, departmental transport services, research of background information, presentation and analysis of the information collected, compilation of reports, and liaison with parties concerned;
(2) To assist in coordinating the planning and implementation of projects;
(3) To process applications and attend to enquiries and queries from the public;
(4) To provide administration and logistic support to events; and
(5) To undertake any other duties as and when required.
Terms of Appointment:
(1) Candidate(s) will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms. Further renewal to be subject to satisfactory performance and operational needs.
(2) The working hours are 44 hours gross per week (including one-hour lunch break). Normally, the candidate(s) appointed will work from Mondays to Fridays.
(3) Candidate(s) appointed may need to work on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and/or at non-office hours upon request(s).
(4) Candidate(s) appointed may be required to work outdoor if and where necessary.
Fringe Benefits
(1) Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave / paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57).
(2) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct, and the prescribed contractual terms and conditions are met. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485), will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
