Responsibilities:

1) Risk Underwriting and Assessment

Underwrite medical and jumbo cases independently, making accurate risk decisions according to company policies.
Review clients' financial documents to assess their financial health and help develop better financial guidelines.
Stay informed about industry rules, best practices, and market changes to maintain compliance and stay competitive.

2) Process Improvement and Compliance

Help review and improve operation procedures to follow company risk strategies and industry standards.
Ensure smooth policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals, making sure everything is compliant.
Keep detailed records of underwriting decisions for audit and compliance purposes.

3) Support and Training

Support brokers by conducting training and offering ongoing assistance to help them understand products and processes.
Communicate with brokers and internal teams to resolve underwriting issues and clarify policy terms.

4) Service Enhancement and Collaboration

Provide prompt and helpful support to brokers, consultants, internal teams, and the GP team with inquiries.
Keep track of market trends and broker feedback to find ways to improve our processes and services.
Participate in projects to enhance brokerage services and financial underwriting methods.

Qualifications:

Solid record in underwriting field with over 8 years relevant experience in life insurance underwriting of which 3 to 4 years in supervisory role preferred.
Professional qualification in Life Insurance field including FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) or other related qualification.
Strong interpersonal & customer service skills for Life operation
Good command in English and Cantonese, fluent Putonghua will be an advantage.
University degree in any disciplines.
PC skill of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
