Recruiting Position: Insurance Brokerage Responsible Officer

I. Company Background:

The Company is an SFC-licensed corporation for Type 1 and Type 4 regulated activities. It has now decided to expand into insurance brokerage business and will leverage its existing and potential client relationships to drive these new operations.

II. Job Opportunity:

Candidates who wish to apply must possess experience in (1) managing the company's insurance operations; (2) Ensuring accuracy and compliance of insurance reporting; (3) Understanding regulatory requirements, underwriting processes, and policy compliance.

III. Key Responsibilities:

1. License Application and Renewal : Handle the end-to-end process of license applications and renewals with the Insurance Authority (IA).

2. Daily Operations Management : Manage the daily backend operations of the insurance brokerage, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

3. Professional Guidance : Provide expert advice on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies.

4. Periodic Review: Conduct periodic reviews of the insurance brokerage's businesses, products, and services; set improvement plans and ensure their implementation.

5. Business Development Support: Actively contribute to business growth initiatives, including insurance product evaluation, insurer partnership development, and market expansion strategies.

IV. Requirements:

Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher
Hold an RO license for insurance brokerage, including but not limited to long-term insurance business.
Minimum 5-10 years solid experience in the insurance industry, with at least 2 years in a management position
Maintain long-term, positive relationships with industry partners, with the ability to obtain endorsements from multiple insurance companies.
In-depth understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements, with the ability to interpret the regulatory framework for daily operations.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
