About the Role

A prominent private equity firm is currently recruiting an experienced Fund Accounting Manager who possesses extensive hands-on expertise in managing private credit funds.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the Credit & Markets business, including Investment Accounting, Investor Relations, Treasury, Group Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
Oversee the review of financial statements for private credit funds and related SPVs, while coordinating the annual audit process.
Manage treasury operations and liquidity for the funds.
Oversee capital activity processes, such as capital calls (drawdowns) and distributions to investors.
Validate calculations for management fees, carried interest, and related performance allocations.
Prepare and review investor communications, including reports and capital-raising documentation.
Support the preparation and review of U.S. tax reporting provided to investors.
Contribute to the successful closing of investment transactions.
Ensure full operational compliance with governing fund documents, including the PPM, LPA, side letters, and other legal agreements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners such as fund administrators, banks, custodians, tax advisors, and other service providers.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in private credit or private equity asset management, ideally in a fund finance or fund operations role supporting asset managers. Prior Big 4 experience would be a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with strong attention to detail.
Highly self-motivated with the capacity to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Demonstrated strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality work in a timely and efficient manner.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Enthusiastic learner who is proactive, curious, and driven to add value.
