A fast-growing international technology-enabled financial services company is looking for a Senior Finance Accountant to join its Hong Kong finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of financial reporting activities and contribute to the development of finance processes within a growing business.

The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, is comfortable building processes from the ground up, and is keen to gain broader exposure beyond traditional accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage financial reporting activities, including month-end closing, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial reports.
Ensure compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and internal accounting policies.
Support audit processes, statutory reporting, and other finance-related compliance matters.
Work closely with regional and overseas teams, including stakeholders in the US, on accounting and reporting matters.
Review and enhance finance processes, controls, and reporting workflows as the business continues to scale.
Support ad hoc finance projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA qualified with around 4–5 years of relevant accounting / financial reporting experience.
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards (HKFRS) and financial reporting processes.
Experience in a growing business environment or involvement in setting up / improving finance processes from scratch is highly preferred.
Industry background is flexible; candidates from different sectors with strong reporting experience will be considered.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and US-based teams.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
