We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

providing administrative support for staff recruitments and appointments at the school level, including but not limited to Research & Development staff, temporary/part-time teaching/non-teaching staff, student trainees;
handling timesheet submissions for part-time staff members;
handling freelance appointments and related payments;
providing administrative and logistics support for staff development and staff engagement activities;
providing general support for the daily operations and ad hoc activities of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences;
performing data entry and maintaining an effective database and filing systems;
providing secretarial service to committees and meetings;
providing customer and counter services, and handling enquiries; and
performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Nursing and Health Sciences or his/her nominee.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

a recognized degree, preferably with at least 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in the tertiary education sector;
be able to work independently and proactively, and be a good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills;
be meticulous and self-motivated, and willing to learn;
a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and
proficiency in computer applications including MS Office, Chinese word processing and Excel.

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
