As part of their continued growth and commitment to strong corporate governance, they are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join their regional audit team.
Job Description
- Plan and execute risk-based internal audit assignments across property and hospitality business units.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and emerging risks, and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management and key stakeholders.
- Monitor and follow up on audit findings and remediation efforts.
- Assist in developing annual audit plans based on risk assessments.
- Review compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Support special investigations, ad hoc reviews, and process improvement initiatives when required.
- Collaborate with business leaders to promote a strong risk and control culture across the organization.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified Accountant with Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- 4-6 years of internal or external audit experience, ideally gained within property, real estate, hospitality, hotel operations, construction environments
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and corporate governance principles
- Willingness to travel for regional audit assignments
