Accounting Officer- AR/ Expenses (12 Months Renewable Contract, Open to Junior Candidates/ Fresh Graduates)

A well-established insurance group is looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to join their Finance team in a dynamic role supporting operating expenses or accounts receivable (AR) operations. This position is open to junior candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the insurance industry. Immediately available candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Input and submit invoices; check and review expense reports (staff reimbursements)
Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset creation and disposal
Handle intercompany billing, cost allocation, OPEX reporting, and related tasks
Prepare manual journals and perform follow-up actions on OPEX functions
Process policy receipts and follow up on AML documentation as required
Support day-to-day AR operations, including handling receipt enquiries from banks and internal stakeholders
Perform country checks on sources of collection and compile supporting documents for Insurance Authority (IA) enquiries
Support audit, internal control reviews, and AR system enhancement initiatives
Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, open to fresh graduates
Experience in Oracle ERP is highly recommended
Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting/Finance is preferred but not mandatory
Meticulous, attentive to details, and able to work well within the team and with cross-departmental stakeholders
Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese
Willing to work overtime during peak periods
Immediate availability is preferred
