The School of Graduate Studies is established for strengthening the central support for postgraduate programmes as well as the monitoring of their quality in alignment with the University’s strategic direction of expanding and providing quality postgraduate education. It also proactively seeks collaboration with leading institutions in the international academic communities to co-organise scholarly activities to enhance postgraduate student learning.

Responsibilities

Provide a wide range of support to matters pertaining to postgraduate studies, including student admissions and publicity, registration, maintenance of student records, assessment and financial sponsorships
Provide support in general office administration
Provide counter services
Handle student enquiries
Provide logistical support to meetings, events and activities
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in tertiary institutions
Good logical thinking, analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
A good command of written and verbal English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)
A strong sense of responsibility
Able to work independently and under tight schedules
High proficiency in MS office applications and other IT applications

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
