Department of Digital Innovation and Technology

Major Duties:

The appointee shall report to the Programme Leader and Head of Department and engage in teaching and related learning activities, developing programme curriculum, teaching & learning, and assessment materials. He/she shall also support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities, and undertake academic and administrative support services for the Cinematic Arts and Technology programme.

Requirements:

The candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree in Film Production, Cinematic Art, Creative Writing or related fields with good professional standing. He/she should have at least 4 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or industry experience in relevant fields. Desirable specialism include:

Film Directing and Acting
Film Production
Screen Writing, Storytelling, Adaptation

Candidates should have good interpersonal, presentation, team-building, communication skills and a high proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Notes:

(1) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee(s) will work at the Chai Wan and Tiu Keng Leng Campuses.
