How you will make an impact:
The role will facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and manage key initiatives, focusing on investments, asset enhancement and portfolio management. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of medium- and long-term property strategies, evaluating and execution of real estate investment underwritings, conducting due diligence, developing research thesis, and engaging in business negotiations. This role is crucial for ensuring effective project execution and contributing to the strategic growth of the company's investment portfolio.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging investment opportunities and trends
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations and board papers on investment opportunities for senior management and stakeholders
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure corporate investment strategies align with overall business objectives and a carried out accordingly
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the Company’s medium- and long-term property portfolio strategy, including the selection of potential strategic partners
- Project Evaluation: Participate in the screening and selection, desktop analysis, and evaluation of proposed real estate investment projects in HK and Offshore, and develop feasibility analysis reports
- Transaction Support: Drive financial modeling, assist in the evaluation and execution of approved investment transactions, covering due diligence, risk assessment, transaction structuring, negotiation, and report preparation
- Project Management: Support comprehensive development efforts, technical consultation, project investment, and construction management throughout the real estate project lifecycle
- Asset Disposal: Facilitate the disposal of non-core assets by identifying potential buyers and overseeing the sales process.
- Timing Analysis: Assess market conditions to determine the optimal timing and pricing for asset sales
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Surveying, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a corporate environment in an investment /transactions capacity
- Proven experience in investment underwriting analysis, and/or transaction management
- Analytical and quantitative mindset, with a high sensitivity to numerical /technical concepts
- Advanced proficiency in investment financial modelling and valuation techniques (able to build a 3 statement cashflow model from scratch) in excel
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic team-oriented environment
- Independent and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative and commitment
- Diligent, strong attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure
- Clear communication and logical reasoning, fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
- Candidates who have demonstrated less experience will be considered for an Investment Analyst position
