Role Description

The Site Control Assistant is responsible for supporting site operations, access control, and administrative coordination to ensure the safe, efficient, and organized management of project sites. This role assists in monitoring site activities, maintaining records, coordinating personnel access, and ensuring compliance with site procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards.

Key responsibilities include managing site entry and exit records, verifying personnel and visitor documentation, maintaining attendance logs, and supporting site access control procedures. The role assists in monitoring daily site operations, preparing reports, updating databases, and maintaining accurate records related to workforce deployment, equipment movement, and site activities.

The Site Control Assistant works closely with project management, site supervisors, contractors, and security personnel to ensure smooth coordination of site operations. The position also supports document control activities, assists with permit and compliance documentation, and helps ensure adherence to site regulations and company policies.

In addition, the role contributes to maintaining an organized site environment by supporting logistical coordination, tracking operational activities, and assisting with administrative tasks necessary for efficient project execution.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage records, documentation, and operational information accurately.

Good understanding of site operations, access control procedures, workplace safety requirements, and general construction or project site environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to maintain databases and prepare reports.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation, attendance records, and site-related information.

Ability to communicate effectively with site personnel, contractors, visitors, and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.

A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced site environment.

Ability to follow procedures, maintain confidentiality where required, and support compliance with site regulations and operational standards.
