Job Responsibilities

To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Handle daily accounting operations, including payment processing and preparation of accounting vouchers;
Perform budgetary control functions, including fund checking and ensuring payments align with approved budgets;
Monitor bank account balances and prepare timely and accurate monthly bank reconciliations;
Prepare monthly fixed asset reports and reconciliations;
Assist in month-end closing activities and support year-end audit processes;
Prepare and submit statistical and census reports required by government departments;
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards;
Liaise with internal departments and external parties on accounting-related matters; and
Perform ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting or related discipline
1 – 2 years relevant experience, experience in sizable organizations is a definite advantage
Attentive to meticulous rules and regulations
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Self-initiative and able to meet tight reporting deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge in FLEX accounting system is an advantage
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.
