Role Mission

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and operations within our Finance team.
This position supports the efficient management of accounts, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial documentation while contributing to the overall financial health and compliance of the APAC regional office.

Role Summary

You will join our Finance team of 8 professionals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting operations, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting, with proficiency in major ERP systems.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a prestigious Japanese multinational organization, contributing to APAC financial operations while developing skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Job Description

Supervise and perform bank reconciliations, cash counts, and intercompany worksheets
Prepare and maintain consolidated financial reporting, balance sheets, and divisional budgets
Manage tooling accounts payable and verify payments for accuracy
Review vendor payments and ensure accurate expense accruals
Handle advance payments, leasing documentation, and exchange rate calculations
Collaborate with the Finance team to maintain clean and accurate financial records
Handle ad hoc assignments and special projects as assigned by management
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist in financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
Prepare and maintain group financial consolidation reports and multi-entity financial statements

Ideal Candidates

Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions & formulas)
Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting, financial consolidation, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Good communications in English
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks
A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities
Adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic regional office
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
