About the Role

The Attorney Support Specialist is an integral part of Latham’s Attorney Support team. This role will be responsible performing a variety of secretarial duties of a confidential nature for attorneys and/or managers while maintaining positive contact with clients, attorneys, and staff at all times. This role will be located in our Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

Working in a global team environment with a real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow)
Draft and manage client billings, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing, and address discrepancies.
Daily time entry, expense reimbursement, calendaring/scheduling and coordinate travel arrangements
Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, ensuring accuracy in grammar and spelling.
Preserving the confidentiality of ours and our clients’ protected information
Conduct research and manage conflict check requests and new matter openings

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Display professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff throughout the firm
Take initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
Can multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms

And have:

A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and verbal communication
Knowledge and proficiency in PC applications required, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
