We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the LiPACE:
Programme Director (Head of Programme Promotion Unit) (LiPACE) (Ref.: 260019M)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Providing high level programme advisory role to the School’s suite of creative culture and digital business programmes delivered in full-time and part-time modes;
- Advising the Division Head on industry-related inputs into various Higher Diploma such as Business Administration and Management, Creative Culture, Digital Business Practice and relevant Part-time programmes, including connecting with industry and bringing staff and students to relevant industry events;
- Leading school branding, student recruitment growth and public relations;
- Leading high-impact, school-level initiatives to promote LiPACE’s brand, with a focus on articulating the "Three-I" (Internationalization-in-place, intercultural awareness and inclusion), high-profile collaborations with mainland and overseas partners, and Greater Bay Area (GBA) partnership networks across digital and physical spaces;
- Managing multiple external specialist agencies (IMC, PR, Web, Creative) to maximize return on investment, reshape online public sentiment, and drive enrollment.
- Directing the performance marketing and recruitment funnels for full-time Higher Diploma programmes and part-time professional certificates/diplomas; overseeing cutting-edge social media defense and community strategy (specifically on Threads and Instagram) to turn peer-to-peer discussions into enrollment conversion opportunities;
- Providing strict, results-driven management over external contractors (IMC media agency, web developers, public relations firms, and print designers), ensuring no resource wastage and absolute efficiency in a 50:50 brand-to-performance budget model;
- Orchestrating high-level media exposure, including high-profile event coverage, programmatic Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) networks, and the annual "Meet the Media" press sprint to ensure maximum conversions during the DSE results release admission period;
- Chairing strategic marketing and communication working groups at the School level and advising divisions on their roles in promotion;
- Engaging in innovative professional activities; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean (LiPACE) or his/her nominee.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A Master’s Degree (preferably an earned doctorate) in Marketing, Integrated Communications, Business Administration, Creative Media, or a related discipline;
- Significant years of leadership and management experience at a senior level in branding, advertising agencies, or corporate marketing divisions, with a verified portfolio of bold, pioneering, or award-winning marketing campaigns;
- Strong competency in vendor management and data-driven marketing, with a deep understanding of digital ecosystem mechanics, social media listening (Threads/IG metrics), and programmatic ad infrastructure;
- Excellent commanding presence with outstanding stakeholder management skills, capable of driving cross-functional alignment and managing tight timelines during peak recruitment cycles;
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with strong project management and the ability to drive strategic initiatives;
- Exceptional proficiency in English and Chinese languages (including Cantonese and Putonghua) with the ability to bridge corporate storytelling with authentic, Gen-Z community slang; and
- Teaching and work experience in higher education would be an advantage, but a proven track record of breaking new ground in the commercial or creative sectors is essential.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, a composite cash/housing allowance, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
