We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the LiPACE:

Programme Director (LiPACE) (Ref.: 260018T)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

Providing academic leadership to a team of teaching staff and performing the administrative duties of an associate head of division; or
Leading an initiative or project at the School level to promote collaborative partnerships with leading mainland higher vocational institutions, heading the recruitment drive for mainland student admissions, directing support services for mainland students, and overseeing online promotion efforts directed at mainland applicants;
Chairing working groups at the School and Divisional levels;
Engaging in professional/scholarly activities;
Participating in School/University activities and administration; and
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean (LiPACE) or his/her nominee.

Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

A higher degree (preferably an earned doctorate) and relevant professional qualification;
Extensive teaching and administration experience including programme development, course administration and quality assurance at the level of Senior Lecturer or above, preference will be given to those with programme leadership experience in postsecondary and higher education (for associate head of division);
Extensive experience in mainland student admissions, promotions and support;
Good involvement and participation in professional activities; and
Proficiency in English & Chinese languages, including Putonghua.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment
An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, a composite cash/housing allowance, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates. Generous annual leave, staff-development sponsorships, medical and dental benefits, and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
