Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Influencer Marketing Specialist with strong expertise in Xiaohongshu and the Mainland China influencer ecosystem to manage integrated campaigns for clients. Focusing primarily on the CN market, you will develop tailored influencer strategies, manage client accounts, and execute impactful social media and PR campaigns that drive brand awareness, seed trends, and boost engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute China-focused KOL / influencer marketing strategies aligned with client goals, with a specific emphasis on Xiaohongshu ecosystem.
Identify, onboard, and manage RED fashion/beauty/lifestyle influencers, KOCs (Key Opinion Consumers), and top-tier content creators.
Handle end-to-end influencer campaigns (briefing, negotiation, content review with native CN copy/nuances, publishing, and detailed reporting).
Deeply understand Xiaohongshu’s algorithm, traffic mechanisms, and community guidelines; leverage official platforms like Pugongying for compliance and collaboration.
Maintain strong relationships with MCNs, talent agencies, and cross-border/domestic clients.
Serve as key account contact and ensure smooth project delivery within the CN digital landscape.
Support integrated social media, PR, and seeding campaigns to maximize ROI.
Prepare campaign proposals, competitive analysis, and pitching materials tailored for brands targeting mainland Chinese consumers.
Monitor performance (conversion, engagement, search rankings on RED) and provide insights and optimization.
Conduct deep-dive market and influencer trend research

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in KOL marketing, influencer management, social media, or agency account servicing, with proven experience running successful campaigns on Xiaohongshu and Douyin
Native-level understanding of Mainland China internet culture, slang, and digital marketing trends.
Proven track record in handling KOC seeding and optimizing content for RED's search engine (SEO/SEM on RED).
Strong communication, pitching, and client servicing skills; able to manage expectations from both regional brands and local CN creators.
Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese); professional proficiency in English is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
Proficient in MS Office, Chinese word processing, and familiar with Chinese analytics tools.
