We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Open Learning:

Research Assistant I/II (SOL) (Ref.: 260019Y)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

Assisting in the organization and promotion of scholarly activities such as seminars and workshops;
Conducting literature reviews and studies on topics related to open and innovative education;
Assisting in the development of an archive of research in open and innovative education;
Providing assistance in a broad range of administrative duties, including preparation of project notes, meeting minutes and reports; and
Performing other duties as assigned.

Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

A recognized degree (for Research Assistant II) or a Master’s degree (for Research Assistant I) in Education, Social Sciences or related areas (preference will be given to those who are familiar with research on higher education or educational technology and agentic AI);
Very good command of English and Chinese;
Strong sense of responsibility, effective organization and interpersonal skills; and
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
