Research and Studies Division

1-year contract

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage day-to-day duties to ensure delivery of timely and accurate information on the Oil Price Watch, one of the Council’s price surveillance tools available in web and app formats
Assist in Oil Price Watch system enhancement to ensure timely delivery of the schedule
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including service provider and government department
Draft responses to public enquiries and obtain approvals from seniors
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and escalate issues as needed
Assist in user experience (UX) testing, website design, and quality assurance
Assist in duties relating to research projects, including information collection and compilation, data analysis and stakeholder liaison work
Support the team in other ad-hoc projects as assigned by seniors
Carry out duties at non-office hours if and when required

Requirements:

A recognised university degree or equivalent in Communications, Project Management, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences or related disciplines
A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in project coordination, preferably of digital projects in sizable organisations or agencies. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Executive
Well-versed with website CMS platforms, mobile app development processes and UX/UI design principles
Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English; and well-versed in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skill and attention to details
Compliant with internal policies and guidelines
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and highly organised; a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks

Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits

Appointment will be offered on a 1-year contract. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service needs of the Division and the performance of the appointee.
