Department / Cluster: Bureau Support, Strategy and Planning Division, HA Head Office

Pay: HK$69,414- HK$87,341 per month (including Monthly Allowance)

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

The post-holder will be seconded to the Research and Data Analytics Office, Health Bureau with main duties as follows:

Supervise the conduct of literature reviews to guide the planning and execution of data analytics and modeling across disciplines such as artificial intelligence, statistics, economics, and geography.
Design execution plans to gather data and information from diverse sources, enabling the development of data visualisation, presentation, and analytics and modeling across various disciplines.
Develop and oversee structured processes to extract, organise, and transform data into analysable datasets, supporting the creation of data visualisation, presentation, and analytics and modeling across disciplines.
Plan, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of data visualisation, presentation, and analytics and modeling tasks, ensuring alignment with literature review findings.
Prepare and review documentation of production processes and presentation materials for data analytics and modeling projects.
Lead the planning, implementation, and dissemination of data analytics results, including coordination with stakeholders and team members.
Perform other related duties as assigned by senior officers.

Entry Requirements

A university degree or equivalent.
At least 4 years’ post-qualification experience in management function / respective profession / function of the post, of which at least 2 years’ experience is in junior management / professional level (e.g. EO II or equivalent level).
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Preferable Attributes / Exposure

Proficient in common office software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing.
Knowledge of and experience in statistical computing techniques and application of statistical packages & data visualisation tools such as SAS, Tableau, Python, R, GIS.
Experience in statistical analysis and computing work, economic analysis, or research related work at healthcare settings.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
