Formulate/review technology development strategy
Lead and mentor Agile development teams
Implementation of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)

Responsibilities:

In-charge the assigned Department to ensure effective and efficient system services / supports are provided to achieve both short and long-term business goals
Formulate/review technology development strategy to synchronize with the Bank’s business objectives and devise implementation road map for the Banks’s technology platform Review strategy and roadmap from time to time and make necessary adjustments, catering to the business environment and technological changes
Develop and implement IT policy and procedures to ensure proper IT control is in place so as to mitigate the Bank exposure
Prioritize projects and system change requests in line with the Bank’s business objectives and direction
Ensure the “system development life cycle” (SDLC) is executed properly in the department and the deliverables meet the specified requirements in terms of quality, timeliness, compliance and budget
Lead and mentor Agile development teams, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development Teams
Oversee the implementation of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) across multiple development teams
Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and other Departments to ensure that Agile initiatives align with business objectives

Requirements:

Bachelor degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. Master’s degree is preferable
15 years or above of IT experience with at least 10 years of IT management experience in banking or financial industry. Proven experience as a Head of Agile Development, Agile Coach, or similar position is preferable
Experience in managing Agile development teams and technical personnel in software application systems development and maintenance
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
Strong influencing and negotiation skills and obtaining buy-ins from business and technology stakeholders
Self-motivated with strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem solving, organizing and project management skills
Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or similar certifications are highly preferable
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as fluent in Putonghua
