Job Highlights

A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
A valid Certificate of Registration and Practising Certificate (Part I) from the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong.
Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, fluent in Cantonese, able to communicate effectively with service users and team in both languages.
Good communication skills, team spirit, sense of responsibility and ability to handle cases independently.
Experience in elderly/ residential care services preferred; possession of valid First Aid Certificate an advantage.

Role and Responsibilities:

To conduct occupational therapy assessments and formulate individualized rehabilitation programmes for elderly service users.
To plan and implement individual/group treatment sessions, functional training and health education activities.
To collaborate with multidisciplinary team, participate in case conferences, family education and service follow-up.
To perform documentation duties including assessment reports, progress notes and data statistics.
To support daily operations of the centre and promotion of rehabilitation services.

Entry Requirement:

A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
A valid Certificate of Registration and Practising Certificate (Part I) from the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong.

Compensation and Employment Terms:

Currently $16,702.50 per month (1/2 Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 14).
The successful candidate(s) will be remunerated according to the prevailing policies on entry salary and may have to accept a downward adjustment of his/her/their existing salary. His/Her/Their current performance-related salary review date(s), if any, will be subject to review upon change of appointment.
The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review.
Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
When hiring employees for positions involving children, the elderly, or mentally incapacitated persons, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals will require applicants to undergo a sex offence conviction check.
