Senior Facilities Management Officer (Project)
Office of Campus Development and Management
(Post Ref.: 26/149)

Responsibilities

Plan and manage addition and alteration (A&A) and renovation on campus and related off-campus locations
Prepare briefs and development proposals and conceptual designs for improvement projects
Manage and review design / technical proposals by consultants and contractors
Liaise with the Government departments, project stakeholders and users about campus projects
Prepare tender documents and assist in the tendering process for consultancy service and works contracts
Monitor and control project progress and supervise the works of contractors so as to maintain a high level of safety and quality standards
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

A recognized degree or equivalent qualifications in building services, architectural studies, interior design, building surveying or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in renovations or alteration works
Work experience in project management in universities / institutions will be an advantage
Strong planning, organization, interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility
An excellent command of written and verbal English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua being an advantage
Excellent computer skills in AutoCAD/Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of Building Information Modelling or other 3D modelling software is advantageous
Relevant experience in managing construction site safety

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
