Role Mission
- To drive sales growth and deepen customer relationships in the marine and offshore sector by positioning advanced cargo and load‑handling solutions as critical enablers of safety, efficiency, and operational success.
- The role is responsible for building long‑term partnerships with key accounts, understanding their technical and commercial needs, and delivering integrated equipment, spare‑parts, and service offerings that improve uptime and overall vessel performance.
Role Summary
- Location: Singapore (primary), with outreach to selected APAC markets
- Manage sales of spare parts, service contracts, and project‑based solutions for marine and offshore clients
- Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring sales activities within a defined market segment to achieve annual sales targets.
- The role combines field‑based account management, technical‑commercial positioning, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure seamless delivery from quote to project execution and after‑sales support.
- Regular onsite clients visits to customers and sites is required.

Job Description
- Plan, develop, and execute sales activities for spare parts, services, and equipment projects within the assigned marine and offshore segment, aligned with regional sales targets.
- Prospect, negotiate, and close sales with both existing and new clients, including shipowners, shipyards, offshore operators, and maritime service providers.
- Develop sales and service budgets and action plans for your market segment or key accounts, and monitor performance against forecasts to identify risks and opportunities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow sales of spare parts, maintenance, and service offerings, and propose tailored solutions to address customer pain points and operational needs.
- Provide market intelligence and input into sales, pricing, retention, and distribution strategies, including insights on competition, trends, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as key account managers, project managers, customer‑experience, and service operations to ensure accurate requirement gathering, timely execution, and smooth escalation handling.
- Drive customer success through proactive relationship management, including regular onsite visits, needs‑assessment meetings, and joint planning sessions with technical and operations stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit regular sales, service, and market‑insight reports to local and regional management, highlighting key opportunities, challenges, and lessons learned.
Ideal Candidate
- A proactive and self‑driven sales professional with a strong track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a technical or industrial environment.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in the marine, shipping, or offshore industry, ideally with exposure to equipment sales, spare parts, or service contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably in engineering, marine technology, business or related
- Proven success in sales and account management, with the ability to manage both individual transactions and strategic, project‑based opportunities.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, comfortable in frequent customer visits and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to bridge technical and commercial value, explaining engineering solutions in business‑benefit terms and aligning offerings with customer KPIs.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM or sales‑planning tools, with the ability to create clear, data‑driven reports and presentations.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; familiarity with regional languages in APAC is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation skills and comfort using different negotiation techniques to reach win‑win outcomes.
