Temporary Accounting Officer (11.5 months), Finance Office (1025)

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible for, including but not limited to, the following:

Provide accounts receivable services for the College, including billing, fee collection and student status proposals.
Deliver high-quality customer service and handle enquiries from students, parents and external stakeholders.
Support the supervisor in budget control for approved projects, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and coordinate external audits for individual projects when required.
Prepare management reports and other regular reports.
Support system implementation and other system enhancement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Applicants should:

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting.
Have at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in tertiary institutions.
Be numerically sensitive and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).
Have a strong sense of responsibility and be good at multi-tasking.
Be customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills and strong language proficiency.
Be a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Preferably have experience using SAP S/4HANA accounting software.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Temporary Assistant Executive Officer.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
