IT & AI Systems Engineering Lead
My client is seeking a forward‑thinking technology leader to drive AI‑enabled system development, algorithmic innovation, and next‑generation platform architecture. This role blends engineering depth, mathematical rigor, and strategic vision to help shape the technologies powering their future products and automation roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing engineering team
- Architect scalable, secure, cloud‑native and AI‑enabled systems
- Drive intelligent automation, data‑driven capabilities, and next‑gen platform design
- Evaluate algorithms, guide model validation, and ensure mathematical rigor
- Oversee cloud architecture, cybersecurity maturity, and system governance
- Partner with cross‑functional teams on high‑impact initiatives
- Manage vendors, technical partners, and project budgets
The Successful Applicant
Requirements
- Strategic and Hands-On engineering leadership with Full-stack capability
- Exposure to ML frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch), CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud‑native deployment
- Knowledge of Azure/AWS and modern cybersecurity practices
- Domain insight in retail, supply chain, or e‑commerce
- Strong foundation in probability, statistics, linear algebra, optimization
- Ability to evaluate and validate ML models (cross‑validation, ROC/AUC, RMSE, MAPE)
- Data analysis & feature engineering for retail‑focused scenarios
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related fields
- Advanced quantitative training highly valued
- Technical proficiency across C#, .NET Core, Python, ML frameworks, modern DevOps, and cloud platforms
