Senior Editor / Editor (Science) 中學科學(高級)編輯

5 days work, tsuen wan, flexible work hours
publishing experience in Science or related subject
familiar with local Science publication; STEAM, coding, Phy, Chem, Bio

Responsibilities:

Project planning and management, including product and market research
Review scripts and monitor editorial works
Liaise with authors and illustrators to develop projects
Assist in promotional activities with sales and marketing teams
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

University graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related discipline
Over 5 years editorial or teaching experience in Science, with Textbook publishing experience a distinct advantage
Candidate with supervisory experience will be considered as more senior position
Familiar with the local Science curriculum
Knowledge in coding and STEAM education is an advantage
Attention to details
Good command of Chinese and English, both verbal and written
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese input
Organized and self-motivated
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Editor/Project Editor position
