Administrative Assistant (Temporary Appointment) (Ref. 260429006)
[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) assist in event support and logistics relating to student development programmes, signature events, regular communication and student engagement activities;

(b) support the routine management of student activity space;

(d) provide clerical and logistics support to the operation and general administration of the Student Development Section; and

(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students or his/her delegates.

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours for the purpose of events / activities as necessary.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics;

(b) have good interpersonal and communication skills;

(d) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua; and

(e) have good computer literacy, with some knowledge of IT and audio equipment being an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
