We have been exclusively engaged by a globally scaled, engineering consultancy to identify candidates for a Accountant position. This role will report to the Head of Finance to oversee the full set of accounting and finance needs for the Hong Kong and Macau operation.

What you will do

Manage daily accounting operations, including full set of accounts, month-end closing and intercompany reconciliation
Process monthly receipts, record voucher entries, and maintain an organized filing system
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and support annual budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure effective internal controls and safeguard the integrity of accounting functions and reporting
Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and other external stakeholders to support operational requirements
Provide assistance with office administration, stock and asset management and perform ad hoc assignments as needed

What you will bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; professional qualification (HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent) is advantageous but not mandatory
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
Mature, detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with strong communication, time management and deadline-handling skills
Fluent in English and Cantonese, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with familiarity on NetSuite accounting system being an advantage
