The University is now looking for a high caliber candidate to join our building services (maintenance) team. The appointee will oversee all aspects of administrative support for team.
Job Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare reports using MS Office applications.
- Take a major role in handling incoming and outgoing correspondences, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Handle cost allocation, payments and staff records, roster, etc.
- Responsible for daily order placement, quotation, invoicing and order processing.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, maintenance of office equipment and vendor relationships.
- Provide logistical support to meetings, events and activities.
- Handle any other duties as assigned by Team Head.
Requirements
Applicants should have higher diploma / diploma or above, preferably in related disciplines and at least 5 years’ experience in administrative or secretarial roles, good IT knowledge and familiarity with MS Office,preferably in facilities management background would be a definite advantage.
Extensive work experience with administrative support in large scale of organization is also an advantage.
Applicants with lower academic qualifications but with extensive relevant work experience will also be considered.
Appointment to the position will normally be on two-year fixed term contract basis, renewable on mutual agreement. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including continuing education subsidy, annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
