Assistant Facilities Officer (MVAC) (Temporary Appointment) (Ref. 260415006)
[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will report to the Technical Services Section and will be required to:

(a) lead a team of skilled front-line staff to provide MVAC and BS installation and maintenance services, as well as arrange all necessary follow-up/remedial works;

(b) assist in the planning and implementation of repair, maintenance, alterations and additions works;

(d) follow up job orders and monitor the progress and quality of work performed by both internal technical staff and external contractors;

(e) plan and carry out routine checking and inspection of premises;

(f) perform shift duties, including working on Saturdays/Sundays/public holidays; and

(g) handle any other duties as assigned by the Director of Office or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised certificate/diploma in a related discipline plus relevant work experience in mechanical and MVAC installations;

(b) sound knowledge of the operation of the facilities management industry; and

Preference will be given to those with knowledge of occupational health and safety.
