About Our Client

My client in the fintech industry is looking for a FC to join their team. They prefer candidates with Big 4 + Fintech experience.

Job Description

As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

Managing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes within the Accounting & Finance department.
Providing strategic financial advice to support business decision-making.
Monitoring and analyzing financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Managing audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful FC should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Big 4 + Fintech/Brokerage experience
People management experience
Strong knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
