Project Nature:

To provide IT support on the site preparation and implementation for the new control point establishment of the system.

Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the department;

To provide IT support on the site preparation works and the infrastructure implementation of the system at Lok Ma Chau Loop (LMC Loop);
To provide IT support in User Acceptance Test of the system implementation of the system at (LMC Loop);
To provide IT support for the security risk assessment and audit of the implementation of the system at new control points;
To perform diagnosis with the contractors on technical issues and monitor the progress of remedial actions;
To review project deliverables and monitor the performance of the contractors; and
To perform other duties required for meeting the department's business need.

Requirements:

The proposed candidates must have:

Solid experience in site preparation and networking design;
Experience in Windows and AIX platform;
Good knowledge in IT security and networking;
The Contract staff is required to take up on-call duty;
The Contract Staff will normally work at the department offices in Tseung Kwan O, and occasionally provide support at various control points and offices of the department;
The Contract Staff will have to work outside normal office hours occasionally to meet the operational needs; and
Criminal record check is required.

Technical Skills:

At least 2 years' experience in Infrastructure;
At least 2 years' experience in IT Security;
At least 1 year's experience in Network Design.
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
