We're working with a high-performing, technology-led investment firm building out its cloud platform capability.

This is a senior architecture role focused on shaping how AWS is used across a complex, fast-moving engineering environment.

The Role

You’ll sit at the intersection of platform, infrastructure, and application teams – helping design and standardise how cloud-native systems are built, deployed, and scaled.

Rather than owning a single system, you’ll influence multiple teams by:

• Defining architecture patterns and best practices • Solving common infrastructure and scalability challenges • Helping teams move faster without compromising reliability or security • Translating business requirements into robust technical designs

You’ll also play a key role in evolving the cloud ecosystem - working closely with internal teams and external providers to improve how services are adopted and used.

What You’ll Be Working With

• AWS across infrastructure, networking, and security • Compute: EC2, ECS, EKS / Kubernetes, Lambda • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) • Python or similar scripting for automation

What They’re Looking For

• Strong experience designing AWS-based platforms at scale • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and compute services • Ability to influence engineering teams and drive best practices • Experience working across complex, multi-team environments • A pragmatic mindset - balancing speed, scalability, and reliability
