Role Summary

This leadership position owns the FF&E vision and delivery for high‑end hospitality and luxury residential projects across the region, ensuring that every furniture, lighting, textile and decorative choice reinforces the overall design concept and brand story.
You will drive the full FF&E journey from initial concept and sourcing through to procurement, mock‑ups and on‑site installation, coordinating closely with internal teams, external partners and clients to safeguard quality, aesthetics and functionality.
At the same time, you will mentor and inspire a dedicated FF&E team, championing innovation and best practice so that the firm continues to create distinctive, memorable interiors for flagship projects in Hong Kong, China, APAC and the wider international market.

What You’ll Do

Lead the FF&E design direction across luxury hospitality and residential projects, ensuring full alignment with overall interior design concepts and brand narratives.
Curate and specify furniture, lighting, textiles, artwork, and decorative accessories that elevate aesthetics, comfort, and functionality.
Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, and clients to integrate FF&E seamlessly into spatial planning and detailing.
Oversee sourcing, vendor management, and procurement, ensuring quality, budget control, and on‑time delivery.
Direct mock‑ups, material and sample reviews, and on‑site installation to safeguard design intent and execution quality.
Stay ahead of global FF&E trends, materials, finishes, craftsmanship, and technologies to continually drive innovation and differentiation.
Mentor, inspire, and develop the FF&E design team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
Travel occasionally to project sites, supplier showrooms, and international design fairs as required.

Ideal Candidates

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
10+ years of proven experience in FF&E design for premium hospitality and/or luxury residential projects, including leadership responsibility.
Deep knowledge of international suppliers, bespoke furniture, materials, finishes, and end‑to‑end FF&E procurement processes.
Exceptional design acumen with a strong conceptual approach, strategic mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong leadership, team management, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
Strong written skills in English and/or Chinese; fluency in Mandarin and/or English will be a distinct advantage.
Collaborative, confident, and hands‑on, with the capability to energize, guide, and unite cross‑disciplinary teams.
