About the Role
The Manager, HR Operations is responsible for HR and organizational consulting and for ensuring the successful delivery of HR solutions across Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Philippines. As an HR business partner, s/he will lead HR operations, processes, and solutions across recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, and change management, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
Job Requirements
- Serve as the primary HR operations point of contact for Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Philippines, triaging requests, owning resolution, and escalating complex cases to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Identify, implement, and document improvements to HR processes and controls to increase efficiency and effectiveness; deliver timely, high-quality support to local and remote employees and managers in line with established service standards.
- Lead the rollout of HR policies and programs for assigned regions, ensuring adoption and compliance; provide clear guidance, training, and implementation support to functional leaders for new or updated programs.
- Lead the review, updating, and creation of employment documents for compliance and collaboration with key stakeholders. This includes templates, offer letters, employment contracts, consulting service agreements, and other employment-related documents.
- Assist leaders to strategically utilize the performance management system to create career development plans and/or performance improvement plans for their employees to build a high-quality workforce and high-performing team.
- Lead and mentor a HR team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide proactive and/or ad hoc HR consulting to assigned regions/functions on team development/effectiveness, talent identification & retention, succession plan, employee communication & engagement, organization restructuring, and other people management processes.
- Facilitate teamwork & collaboration between businesses; be the guardian of the Company’s core values and principles.
- Participate in special projects on a local and global basis as required (20% of the time).
Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Human Resources Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of solid experience across core HR functions, preferably gained in a multinational environment, with proven exposure to talent acquisition and management, compensation and benefits, and HR business partnering.
- Strong sense of ownership and customer‑centric mindset, with the ability to work independently under pressure while managing priorities effectively.
- In‑depth knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinances, with working knowledge of labour laws and HR practices in Indonesia and the Philippines.
- Hands‑on, proactive, and adaptable, with a pragmatic and solutions‑driven approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and levels.
- Trilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- High level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting, with CPA, CIA or equivalent qualification is preferred with HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in reporting, audit and/or commercial industries, tax is an advantage.
- Strong analyzing, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with good solution driven mindset
- Ability to adapt to change and operate in a dynamic organization, while also managing competing priorities.
- A strong team player who engages with associates of various functions, time zones, and levels to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within teams.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint applications), knowledge of AX is an advantage.
- Candidates with more relevant experience and higher level of expertise will be considered Senior Accountant.
