The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services for students of the University and enhancing their learning experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering whole-person development and a vibrant campus life of students.

Responsibilities

Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN students) by facilitating academic adjustments, modifying teaching environments, coordinating inclusive activities, and assisting with accommodation arrangements
Collaborate with internal units and external parties to enhance campus accessibility, and to optimise classrooms settings and appropriate provisions for examination utilised by SEN students
Collect and maintain data of SEN students and the inventory of equipment for their needs
Administer wellness and inclusive programmes
Manage inquiries, promotional plans, and daily office operations
Assist in university-wide initiatives and inter-institutional programmes to promote diversity and inclusion
The appointee is expected to work outside normal office hours and on weekends if necessary
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

A recognised bachelor’s degree
At least three years of working experience, preferably in serving SEN students
A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
A high level of proficiency in MS office applications
A caring, empathic, self-motivated and organised disposition
A strong sense of responsibility, attention to meticulous details, and a people-oriented mindset for relationship building
Related experience in managing student activities in higher education sector or local NGOs is an advantage

Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
