Transport Officer (Ref: TND-FM-TO-CT)

Ensure smooth daily operation of the corporate fleet
Vehicle and transport related legal compliance
Procurement of tools and equipment for the Transport workshops

Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Assistant Transport Manager, the appointee will perform the following duties:

To prepare annual budgets and procurement specifications for vehicles and transport-related tools and equipment
To support planning and implementation of fleet-related projects, including capital and revenue budgets and statutory compliance
To manage daily vehicle deployment and ensure fleet vehicles remain roadworthy and fully compliant with legal requirements
To maintain transportation-related statistics and records
To ensure smooth daily operation of the corporate fleet
To provide road safety training and information to internal users
To assist in drafting transport-related safety and administrative guidelines

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management or related disciplines, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in fleet or transport operations, preferably in sizeable organisations
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistic and Transport (CILT) or the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) an advantage
Good knowledge of the Road Traffic Ordinance and traffic regulations in Hong Kong
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
Valid Class 1 and 2 driving licences, an addition of Class 4 and 18 licences preferred

Candidates with less relevant experience and lower qualifications may be considered for the position of Assistant Transport Officer

Work location:Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided
