Provide training and assistance to new employees

What you'll be doing

Preparing and processing shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and other relevant paperwork

Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods

Tracking shipments and monitoring delivery status to provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders

Maintaining accurate records and databases related to import/export activities

Assisting with the preparation of reports and analysis on shipping performance metrics

Collaborating with the logistics and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Proficient in using shipping and logistics software, as well as Microsoft Office suite

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders

A detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving
