Company Overview

We are a long-established Hong Kong–based garment manufacturing and sourcing group specializing in high-quality outerwear for leading international lifestyle and fashion brands.
Operating under a vertically integrated business model with our own fabric mills, we manage the full supply chain from yarn and fabric development through to garment production, enabling better cost control, faster lead times and consistent product quality.
With our main production base in Vietnam and additional company-owned factories in Cambodia and Sri Lanka, we provide end‑to‑end support from fabric development and product design through to bulk production, quality control and on‑time delivery.
We focus primarily on the European market while also supplying customers in the United States and other key global regions, offering flexible capacity, competitive pricing and strong technical support for a wide range of outerwear products.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, this position takes direct ownership of the outerwear merchandising function for assigned accounts.
You will lead the end‑to‑end merchandising process from product development and costing through to bulk production and shipment, ensuring effective communication among merchandising, technical and factory teams.
The role will act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for internal stakeholders and overseas factories, driving on‑time delivery, product quality and margin achievement for the outerwear business.

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the merchandising process for assigned outerwear customers, from initial inquiry through to shipment.
Lead product development activities, including sample requests, sample follow‑up, and coordination with fabric mills and factories to meet design, cost and lead‑time requirements.
Prepare and review costings, negotiate prices and margins within company guidelines, and support the achievement of overall business and profit targets.
Plan and monitor bulk production with company‑owned factories in Vietnam, Cambodia and Sri Lanka, ensuring capacity is well allocated and production schedules are met.
Work closely with technical, QA and production teams to ensure product specifications are clearly communicated and that quality standards are consistently achieved.
Maintain daily communication with overseas factories and the Hong Kong head office teams to resolve issues on orders, materials, quality, timelines and customer requirements.
Coordinate raw material planning with fabric mills and trim suppliers, ensuring on‑time delivery of materials for samples and bulk production.
Track order status and update internal systems and reports, maintaining accurate data on samples, orders, delivery dates and production progress.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, handling day‑to‑day inquiries, providing order updates and supporting seasonal and long‑term business growth.
Support continuous process improvement in merchandising workflows and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency, lead time and service quality.

Ideal Candidates

5+ years of garment merchandising experience; preferably 2+ years in a garment manufacturing environment.
Strong product knowledge in outerwear.
Proven experience working with European/US/brand customers.
Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
Experience in offshore garment factories is a plus.
