About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and adaptable tutor to provide expert academic instruction in IB & A-Level Psychology, Chemistry, and Biology. The ideal candidate will excel at creating a rigorous yet supportive learning environment, tailoring their approach to the individual goals and challenges of senior-level students, and fostering deep subject mastery and exam confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to the IB and/or A-Level specifications in Psychology, Chemistry, or Biology.
Provide subject-specific guidance on exam technique, essay writing, data analysis, and practical investigations.
Develop and mark formative assessments, past papers, and mock exams to track student progress.
Offer clear, constructive feedback to students and detailed academic updates to parents.
Support students with Extended Essays, Internal Assessments, or other coursework components as required.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of syllabus changes and examination board requirements.

Essential Requirements:

An undergraduate degree (or higher) in Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field from a recognised university.
Strong academic record in the relevant subject(s) at A-Level (grade B or above) or IB (score 6 or above).
In-depth understanding of either the IB Diploma Programme and/or Cambridge International A-Level specifications for your subject.
Native or near-native English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional demeanour, reliability, and a passion for teaching at an advanced secondary level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in a subject-related field (e.g.Education, Psychology, STEM related degree) from a recognised university.
Prior teaching or tutoring experience, particularly with students up to age of 18.
Formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent).
Experience with a variety of curricula and educational resources.
Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
